Turn your drawing into painting

This week’s video I'm going to show you a method to make it easy for you to turn your drawing into a successful watercolor painting!

A solid drawing is crucial for painting. This is why I dedicated an entire section for fundamental drawing in my online course because this is one of the most common issues I see in my students’ work. So today, I’m going to spend extra time making the drawing, paint on top of it with glazing, and painting out of it. This is a very good exercise especially if you are new to watercolor. Because this method will make your painting much easier. Since we let the drawing do most of the heavy lifting, we have fewer things to worry about when we are painting.
