You tend to stuck in endless detail and unable to loosen up.

Already Enrolled?
You feel frustrated because it looks so easy when another artists paint. And you want to be like them, paint with ease and confidence, and more importantly, have fun! So you search high and low for a solution to your struggle. Perhaps that's how you found me. =)
I'm here to tell you that you CAN do it. What you need is a complete system.
It's not just one thing that you need.
A successful painting is created with multiple different elements. Just like a good watercolor painter has a solid grasp on different aspects of painting, they have a good fundamental drawing skill, they know good water and paint ratio to make clean washes, they can mix colors with ease, and they understand visual language to paint a good loose painting. This is why even if you have found a solution to your problem, you can still be stuck.

This is what you are getting:
A complete course - The course is a complete package from fundamental drawing and basic watercolor technique to advanced painting. Most watercolor workshops only focus on doing specific paintings. While it is great to learn how to do specific painting, you need to learn the core skills and techniques to be able to paint your own subject!
Learn how to paint loose - If you are interested in my course, chances are you are interested in my style of painting. However, I wouldn’t call loose painting a “style”. It’s more of an artistic choice. Furthermore, the ability to make these choices lies within your ability to come up with visual language, simplified composition and shape design, something that we will be covering in the course as well.
Fundamentals -The fundamental drawing is such an important element to a successful painting. I include that in my course because I believe it is a definite need for this course. While most physical watercolor workshops don't include fundamental knowledge, it is a huge part of my class!
Always up to date - I believe in the quality of the course, and I will keep striving for better quality content that will help you to learn to paint using watercolor. For this reason, I will ensure my course is equipped with better, more updated content, whether it’s the lessons themselves, the video quality, or a better, newer demonstration. I will continue to update my content with no additional charge.
Bonuses:
20 extra painting demos - On top of the complete course you are getting. I will also be doing weekly live Q&A and painting. You can join us live and have real-time interaction.
How to take good reference photos - Have a good subject is the first step of a successful painting. In this bonus lesson, I will be focusing on taking good reference photos for your painting. You don’t need a fancy camera, you only need your phone!
Advance color mixing and blending - Because watercolor is such an unique medium, the paint blends very differently from any other medium. The way watercolor paint blends with each other is incredibly beautiful, but the process is also very confusing to many students. In short, if you want to learn how blending works in watercolor, you need to understand the properties of watercolor. And this is what this bonus lesson is all about.
Brushwork mastery - A huge difference between an amateur and seasoned artist is his/her brushwork. An experienced artist will be able to paint a variety of marks with a single brush. This is the reason why a master’s painting is looking so alive. In this bonus lesson, I will be covering how to use your brush and create different interesting marks.

Any question about the course? Check out the FAQ on the bottom, or ask me here!
Q: How long do I have to complete the course?
A: You can take as long as you want! The course is lifetime access so you can learn at your own pace. Sometimes life gets in the way, and you are not able to commit to it. The course material will always be here for you. You can also log back in and watch individual lessons multiple times. In fact, I often encourage students to go over the course multiple times to really let the knowledge sink in. PLUS, I update the course as I progress as an artist and instructor. So you will always get the update and additional lessons for free after you purchase the course!
Q: Who is this course for?
A: For anyone who feels stuck at their progress and doesn't know what to do next. You can be painting for ten years and never had a solid training; therefore, you are struggling to reach your desired level. You can also be painting for three years, but with very intense and formal training, so you are progressing at a very good rate. If you are struggling to progress and unable to find which direction you should work towards, this course is for you. Additionally, if you have just started to learn how to draw/paint and are looking for a good system to train, this course is for you as well.
Q: Will you be able to take individual lessons rather than the whole course? I could certainly use help in specific areas, but I'm not starting from scratch and have been an artist for a long time.
A: Currently, there is no plan for individual lessons. Since everyone may have a different need, it will be difficult to design a course that's for everyone.
Q: This is a watercolor course; why do you include perspective and drawing lessons.
A: We are all living in a 3-dimensional space, and we need to learn how to paint a believable painting by looking at things 3-dimensionally. Perspective will help you to analyze a 3-dimensional subject and translate it to a 2-dimensional space visually. So while perspective and fundamental drawing can be dry and boring, it is better to learn those things in the beginning than come back to them later on. You wouldn't build a house without foundation; the same goes for learning to paint.
Q: What if I can't make it live?
A: If you purchase the Essential, you are not required to make it to any live event (Q&A and demo). Everything will be recorded for you to watch even after our time together ends. You can submit your question ahead of the time before the Q&A, and I will answer your question regardless if you are there or not. If you enroll in the workshop, you do want to take some time to stay active in the closed group to make the most out of it.
Q: What materials do I need?
A: I have a lesson in the course talking about the materials I am using. I don't require you to get all the materials I have. However, since I haven't tried all of the watercolor materials that are available, my result can be different from yours because of the material differences. As long as you have good quality paint, brushes, and paper, you will be fine.
Q: How long is the duration of the course?
A: The core online content will take you a few weeks to go over it all.
Q: What if I am not ready to start now?
A: We are all going through life in different stages. It is understandable that you might not be ready to take the course right now. But keep in mind that all the contents will always be ready for you. You can learn at your own pace.
Q: How is it different from other watercolor courses?
A: I cover a lot more things in my course than most watercolor workshops (fundamental drawings, visual language lessons, and more). On top of that, I go into other topics such as taking photo references and brushwork mastery.
Q: What technology do I need?
A: A decent computer or laptop and a good internet connection that would allow you to stream YouTube smoothly. If your computer can run YouTube smoothly, you should be fine. You can also access the course material with your smartphone and tablet as well. But a decent computer or laptop gives you the best experience.
