My Materials Recommendations

While I do occasionally try new materials, most of my materials are the ones I’ve been using for years. I decided to list them out for you to see. To save you sometime, I put a buy on Amazon button for each one.

I compiled a list of materials and the link to buy them in a single PDF file. Click on the button below to download it!

Student Grade Paper

MozArt and Kilimanjaro are cheaper papers that I use for practice and value studies.
They are great for the price. However, if I want to do some serous work. I will use Bao Hong or Suanders.

Professional Grade

These papers are professional-grade papers that I recommended.

Brushes

Brushes are the only thing between you and the paper. Good brushes are vital, but you don’t need many of them. Here I recommend a few ones that I personally use. They are all synthetic brushes. Which means they are cheaper than real animal hair brushes, but they are just as good in my opinion.

These 5 brushes are my most used brushes, made by Craftamo, and designed by me.
I painted the majority of my paintings with these 5 brushes. These are cruelty-free, high quality, and best of all, the price is great. They are limited stock. If it is available, make sure you grab your set before it runs out.

Paint

Good paints will make your painting experience enjoyable. They are easy to dissolve in water and the color will be vibrant. I mostly use Daniel Smith paint. Here are the basic colors that I use. I don’t have a 24 colors set. It’s much better to start small and expand your palette as you progress.
